History of Science Year 4 Booklet | KS2 Science Knowledge Book: Famous Scientists

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD: you receive a printable A4 PDF to print at home or school. No physical book is posted.

This 28 page History of Science booklet carries pupils from prehistoric times through Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome to the Middle Ages and modern science. Pupils meet real figures and ideas at each stage, seeing how scientific thinking built up across thousands of years rather than appearing all at once. An apple mummified like a pharaoh and an egg dropped from a tower bring two of the stages to life. The booklet matches Year 4 science in England question for question, and a Watch the video button turns each one into a free YouTube lesson from Brenda Hayles. Photographs and diagrams from each era illustrate the text, and a vocabulary list at the back supports historical and scientific terms together, giving a teacher the whole topic in one download.
