This teacher planner template gives you ten pages, free and editable in Canva. Most teacher planners have forty pages and you use six. These are the ten that get filled in, based on what actually gets printed again in February.
Every one is free and editable.
1. Weekly timetable
Every period, every day, on one page. The one you photocopy for the wall, the folder and the cover teacher.
2. Class register
A full class, a full week, ticked off. Useful for the first fortnight while the system is being set up, and every time it goes down.
3. Seating plan
Rows, groups, horseshoe or zones. Keep the filled-in copy and you will not redo it next September.
4. Duty rota and cover planner
Breaks and cover, sorted for the week, so nobody is left wondering who is on.
5. Attendance tracker
A term of marks at a glance. Patterns show up here long before they show up in a report.
6. Behaviour and rewards tracker
Points and rewards in one place, visible to you and to the class. It settles arguments about who has what.
7. Reading record
Who read what, and when. One page per child or one per group.
8. Parents evening booking sheet
Appointments booked without the queue. Edit the slots to match your evening.
9. Meeting notes
Agenda down one side, actions down the other, so nothing gets lost between the meeting and Monday.
10. End of year reflection
What worked and what changes next year, written down while you still remember. Your July self is doing your August self a favour.
Take the lot
All ten are free with Canva for Education, and they are ten of forty eight in the planner set.
The page no planner has
Mindfulness Cards for Teachers, £4.99. Short prompts for calm and focus, editable in Canva. A planner organises the term. This is for the weeks the term does not go to plan.
