Where The Marks Are: Free GCSE Science Revision Sheet
Most people revise as if the whole paper is about remembering facts. It is not.
Only 40% of the marks on your GCSE Science paper are straight recall. The other 60% is using what you know in a situation you have never seen, and analysing data, methods and results. At least 15% of the marks come from the required practicals, sitting inside the written papers. And the amount of maths is not the same in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
This one page shows you where every mark actually comes from, the command words that tell you which kind of question you are looking at, and three things to change about the way you revise.
Print it, stick it above your desk, and plan your revision around it.
